The Registry of BDM'S does not have an online index for Tasmania.
Up to 1899 Tasmanian BDMs have indexes either on fiche or CD and the full Certificates are available on Microfilm at many libraries including the GSV and the Victorian State Library.
Make sure you write down the year, district and registration number so you can find the entry on the microfilm
